Introducing the new METTLER TOLEDO IND360 automation terminal. This new ultra-fast terminal is about 8 to 10 times faster than comparable weighing devices. It can perform as either a high-end automation transmitter or a compact automation terminal and, is available in three different enclosure formats: DIN rail mount, panel mount, or harsh enclosure.
Boost productivity with faster weighing
The IND360 was built to move your data fast. When connected as an automation transmitter, it can communicate at speeds of 960Hz. As an automation terminal, it clocks out at 480Hz. These fast speeds provide quick communications that save you money while producing high-quality products much faster.
The smartest way to integrate weighing
The IND360 connects to a variety of different PCLs/DCs and supports standard automation protocols like EtherNet/IP, Profinet, Profibus DP, and Modbus RTU. Integration with PCL’s is easy. The IND360 is certified for use with ODVA and Profibus International to ensure compatibility. METTLER TOLEDO provides all the device drivers needed. They also provide ready-to-use sample code in EtherNet/IP AOI and Siemens function blocks. Setup is fast and easy with the included web interface.
You can connect the terminal to cloud connectivity via OPC UA or MQTT using the METTLER ACI400 IIoT Edge device.
New to METTLER TOLEDO’s terminals is the Smart5™ Smart alarming. This is a 5 level prioritized alarm system that gives you instructions on what to do when something goes wrong. It follows NAMUR NE107 and will display on both the terminal and the control system.
Connect to all industrial scale types
The IND360 connects to a variety of traditional and Industry 4.0 Ready smart sensors and scales:
- Analog or strain gauge load cells
- Powercell
- Precision
It connects all brands of scales regardless of capacity and readability. This includes bench scales, floor scales, weigh modules/tank scales, lab balances, and mass comparators.
Deploy everywhere – globally compliant
The IND360 is approved, sold, and serviced in Europe, the Americas, and Asia. The global approvals through NTEP and OIML help eliminate many of the headaches associated with exporting equipment and startup.
