The METTLER TOLEDO 662 Step-saver Hand Wrapping Station is designed for all backroom prepacking needs. From the processing of packages too large to go through the automatic wrappers, to a secondary system for the busiest retails, the Step-Saver will boost productivity, save money, and save space.
To make a complete manual wrapping system, you need to add a scale base and printer/controller. There are several options available including the 840 large capacity printer, UC-CW, Impact M, Impact S, and the bPro scale.
On all systems, enter the Price Look Up (PLU) number, place the product on the platter (which doubles as the wrapping platform), and wrap and seal the product. The label automatically prints and can then be applied to the package. Operators quickly become experts on this system.
