The recent and ongoing supply chain interruption has caused many delays for numerous products. The METTLER TOLEDO printer line was one of the items impacted. METTLER was in the process of evaluating and upgrading their printer line when the interruption hit. It has taken a bit longer than anyone would have liked, but we are pleased to announce that METTLER TOLEDO branded printers are back. They are easier to use and, believe it or not, come in at a lower price than before the pandemic!
The new printer family includes the following models:
APR320
This small and compact dot matrix strip printer can quickly record weighing data at over 4 lines per second. It comes with a variety of connection port options including RS232 and Ethernet. An optional external Bluetooth interface is also available. Includes the smart PC configuration tool Ticket+ for creating print templates that match your unique requirements.
APR331
The APR331 is a small compact direct thermal label printer with a stainless-steel housing. It is easy to connect to most METTLER TOLEDO industrial terminals via RS232. The ergonomic design allows for nearly any operating position, including upside down. Print can be customized to meet your needs. Supports bar code formats 39, 128, and EAN13.
APR430
The APR430 is an entry-level label printer. Out of the box, it will support both direct thermal and thermal transfer printing at 203dpi. Just add a ribbon to move from direct thermal printing to thermal transfer. Like the other APR printers, the APR430 is easy to set up and supports most METTLER TOLEDO industrial terminals. The unit comes with connections to USB 2.0, RS232, and Ethernet 10/100 Mbps. Optional WiFi communication is available. This printer supports both barcode and graphic files. Label layouts can be customized to your needs using the included Label+ software.
APR530
The APR530 is a premium label solution. Like the APR430, it can easily be converted from a direct thermal printer to a thermal transfer printer. Print quality is 300 dpi. A 3.2” backlight control panel is included and allows for additional control of the printer. Communication interfaces include RS232, USB Device, Ethernet 10/100, USB Host, and parallel ports. Wireless LAN is available as an option. The printer supports label customization using the included Label+ software. It supports 1-D and 2-D bar codes. BMP and PCX graphics are resident on the printer and other graphic formats are downloadable from the software.
